Sure Hotel by Best Western Paris Gare du Nord

The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Although small, there is a lift in the property, which helps if you have a room that’s on the upper floors. The Hotel is very close to La Chapelle Metro Station and Gare De Nord Train Station, as well as having a bus stop right outside, so public transport links are very strong. The hotel itself is very clean, right down to the mattresses (no bed bugs to be found, even under intense scrutiny). Those that are familiar with Paris know that La Chapelle is a less glamorous part of town, but the hotel is on the main road, and as an experienced traveller whose visited the city serval times, at no point did I feel unsafe in the general vicinity. If you’re looking for a budget friendly place to stay, and are not averse to staying in a multicultural part of town I’d highly recommend.

Excellent location, very close to Metro and walking distance to Gare de Nord. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was out class . Hotel recently refurbished, everything was new other than the old small lift.

We paid for a quad family room, but when we checked in they had none left and had given us 2 double rooms at no extra cost. This was much better for us and very much appreciated. The rooms were very clean, beds and pillows comfortable too. The location is perfect for the Gare Du Nord, which is a short walk away. We were able to leave our luggage when we arrived early in the morning, so we could go out and see some of the beautiful city. Don't worry about the reviews which say it's in a bad area. We didn't think that at all.

perfect for 3 star hotel: staff was kind/accomodating, room was clean and comfortable. this is a city hotel so it's a tight squeeze but they make good use of it - family of 4 fit perfectly for 1 night. location was perfect for us at Gare du nord but the neighborhood can feel a bit unsafe at night.

It was a small room but we felt like home. It was clean, the staff is friendly and the breakfast is good too (a nice way to start a full day in Paris). The staff is helpful and smiling but they aren't the most professional. Awesome facilities (hairdryer and good quality liquid soap).
